Pirate Ben is 4...Argh!

Ben had a great 4th birthday celebration on Tuesday with mom, dad, Parks and Charlie. Dad made him a super yummy chocolate cake. And he got lots of cool pirate themed gifts...and, an awesome dinosaur suitcase from Gran and Pop! Photos have been added to the January gallery (page 2).

Benjamin's Birthday Party

Ben and more than a dozen of his friends had a blast at his birthday party yesterday. They jumped, zipped, climbed, rolled, balanced, threw balls, chased bubbles and more at the kids gym that Ben belongs to. Below is Ben, looking very serious, getting ready to blow out his candles while everyone was singing happy birthday to him.

Aggle, flaggle, klabble...snurp!?!

Gavin and Ben went to the Kennedy Center last week to see Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical based on one of Ben's FAVORITE books, Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, by Mo Willems. They got all dressed up, neck ties and all. Not surprisingly, the ride on the Metro and Kennedy Center shuttle was as exciting to Ben as the show!
